# ClickUp

Lets Asgard Agents answer questions about the work tracked in ClickUp — where a project stands, who has the most open tasks this week, what was last discussed on a task — and create a task or post a comment when asked. ClickUp organizes work as Space / Folder / List / Task.

## Supported uses

| Use | What it does |
|---|---|
| Shared account | Once live, the Agent reaches ClickUp through one shared account (e.g. an organization account), so the same question gets the same answer for every end user. Creating a task or posting a comment is shown to the end user to confirm before it is sent, and ClickUp records it as that account. The token stays on the platform, out of reach of end users and the AI |

Looking at the data while the deployment is being designed, and letting each end user connect their own ClickUp account, are not in this version.

## What you need

- A ClickUp account and its **API token** (ClickUp calls it a Personal API token). If there isn't one, the FDE Agent walks you through creating it.
- **A decision about which member creates that token.** A ClickUp token has no permissions to choose: it reaches exactly what the member who created it can reach, and changes exactly what that member can change. Picking that member is the only way to narrow what the Agent can see — usually a member added to a single Space for this purpose, rather than an owner or a manager. The FDE Agent asks about this before anything is built.
- A choice of how long the token lasts, made when it is created (never, 30 days, 90 days, or a year). One that expires stops the live deployment on that day, and nobody is warned first.
