Notion
Notion
System integration
Lets the Agent find Notion pages, read them, and query databases, and add a database row or a comment when asked: with one shared connection.
Documentation
Lets Asgard Agents find Notion pages by title, read their content, and query Notion databases. When asked, they can also add a row to a chosen database or leave a comment on a page. The Agent only sees the pages that are shared with its Notion connection.
Supported uses
| Use | What it does |
|---|---|
| Design time | While the deployment is being designed, the FDE Agent first looks at the shared pages and databases: how pages are organized, which fields each database has, and how they are used |
| Shared account | Once live, the Agent finds and reads Notion pages and queries databases with one shared connection (e.g. an organization's connection). It can add a row to the chosen database or comment on a page; the user confirms before anything is written, and Notion shows the connection as the author |
Each end user (e.g. members of the organization) connecting their own Notion account is not in this version.
What you need
- A Workspace Owner of the Notion workspace, to create a connection and copy its API token (the FDE Agent walks you through it step by step, about 10 minutes)
- The pages the Agent may read: everything under a shared page becomes readable, so pick the level that holds just that content
- What the Agent may do besides reading (add database rows, comment), so only those permissions are turned on
- For adding rows: which database to write to
